About Us
Pride is one of the very few Driver CPC Approved Centres; based in the Midlands we are ideally located to serve the whole of the UK. All our trainers are approved and regulated by the Driving Standards Agency.
The Team is headed up by Steve Morison, who has over 35 years training, development and testing experience. Steve was the London Operations Manager for the Driving Standards Agency, responsible for the operational standards of all Driving Examiners, Supervising Examiners ADI, Approved Driving Instructors and London Bus Operators' Delegated Examiners.
During his time with the Agency, Steve was the Training Manager at the renowned DSA Training Establishment at Cardington, as well as part of the quality assurance team of Assistant Chief Driving Examiners based at the DSA's HQ in Nottingham. As part of the London Buses Safety Initiative, Steve setup the TfL Driver Quality Monitoring unit.
From these early beginnings we have gone on to develop and improve the concept of Driver Quality Monitoring to include customer care and general service issues. By using only experienced PCV drivers and instructors that are trained to examiner standards we provide quality, uniform, consistant and professional reports. The standard of these reports and speed of delivery cannot be matched by any of our competitors.
Our clients consistently report that our high energy, upbeat approach provides a refreshing change, especially where operators have been using traditional monitoring, training and development methods for years. Our monitoring and training methods are now recognised as being super-effective at creating sustainable behavioural change.
All our training and development programmes are built on a platform of 'positivity' relating to attitude, language, and leadership. There's plenty of fun to go along with the serious message and we measure success on achieving long term behavioural change, not simply 'delegate feedback reporting'.
